Things to consider are vets fee's for any medical problems and the possibility of hand rearing if mum should become ill or over run with pup's or indeed if any of the pups are ill, this can require 24 hour care and make for sleepless nights though the reward is absolutely out of this world. Fines can be incurred for neglect and cruelty.
