Location

Age
Obedience is great for all ages and can be taken on by all of the family, young children especially enjoy this activity and many classes welcome young children accompanied by an adult so they feel involved.
Ability
You do not need any special abilities to participate in Dog Obedience, just a keen interest in your dog and the ability to learn.
Description
We all love our dogs but sometimes we find trying to control them and set up a routine is a bit of a difficult task, with some dogs being naughty and mischievous, so we enter the world of obedience. Training starts from teaching your dog to sit and wait, to walking to heal, fetching, returning when called (re-call) and taking on other problems such as excessive barking. Obedience is also another great way for you and your dog to socialise and discuss areas of behavior with other owners.
Dedication
Classes for obedience usually run for around 6 weeks and that is one lesson per week, though you can go on and book further courses depending on your requirements, though it is required to obtain maximum obedience that you practice with your dog outside of classes, you may wish to get together with a friend from the class or engage this as a family activity teaching your family what you have learnt at class, so the whole family are working with the same programme so the dog doesn't get confused.
Potential
Potential to have lots of fun and help your dog to become the best that he/she can possibly be, with you both understanding each other and therefore conquering any behavioural problems.
