Breaststroke is a swimming discipline, a swimming stroke. see Swimming activity number 592
In breaststroke the swimmers body must at all times be parallel to the surface of the water. The hands must be pushed forward together from the breast, and then brought back on or under the water surface. In the leg kick the legs are kept together.
