Similar to embroidery, though tapestry is created on a weaving loom, threads are usually made from wool or cotton and sometimes include silk, gold, silver and more. Some designs are made on cardboard called a blueprint to make it easier to transfer you design to weave. It may sound a little complicated but once you get going you can pass hours of enjoyment away.
