Tchoukball is a unique team playing, ball game, it was originally devised by Dr Herman Brandt quoted as saying The objective of human physical activities is not to make champions, but make a contribution to building a harmonious society.
Popularity
A hugely popular game which is now an International Sport played in a t least 8 different countries.
Location
Usually played indoors on a special court measuring some 40 meters in length by 20 meters.
Age
This is a game enjoyed by all ages there are adult classes and classes for the under 18's.
Ability
A good sense of health and fitness as this can be a very fast game, it is said that you can grasp the rules within a quick 5 minute lessons.
Description
Developed in the 1970's by Swiss biologist Dr. Hermann Brandt, aimed at helping to bring around a good social balance the game soon became a popular and exciting sport. There is no person to person contact allowed in the game so less injuries occur this is more about fun and strategy, each end of the court has a 'frame' measuring 1 meter square, the object of the game is to bounce the ball off the frame and it land outside the 'D' line in front of the frame without the opposing team catching it.

The game is full of fun and at times is very fast moving, it is about strategy and having fun, if you want to be playing on your local team then you will need 100% dedication for this fun packed sport.

To have fun and make new friends, maintain physical fitness, play in tournaments and competitions, become really experienced and play at International Level.
