Baton twirling is the modern form of 'majorettes'. Its disciplines incorporate dance, gymnastics and baton twirling. It's fun and a good way of making new friends and keeping fit!
Baton Twirling requires the ability to work as part of a highly choreographed group, and it will promote suppleness and general fitness, and also improve hand/eye co-ordination.
Baton Twirling groups mainly take part in competitions, but also do fundraising events, fetes and carnivals.
