Aqua-Zorbing is done in a Zorb, and `you` are a 'Zorbonaut', your ship? A giant plastic ball that you climb inside of. Then by walking forward the Zorb will move forward, when done on water the zorb will enable you to walk quite literally "on water".
A hugely popular form of entertainment/sport with clubs offering taster and special days.
Aqua-Zorbing is an off shoot of Sphereing which originated in New Zealand in the early 1990s. There are now clubs and associations throughout the U.K. and the world, as well as comercial operators offering rides to the public.
