Woodsball also known as Bushball is competitive and a popular form of paintball. Woodsball is played in any natural setting. Sometimes, it is played in conjunction with Scenario paintball, which is played with a predetermined story, or setting.

Woodsball is extremely popular drawing a wide array of people both male and female,
Competitive sportsmen playing regularly in paintball leagues.
Corporate one off team building days.
Casual groups experiencing an action packed recreational day.

Location
Woodsball is normally competed in commercial paintball parks, which charge for admission. These paintball parks usually feature different themed fields, (e.g. woods, jungle, city, or historical battlefield).

Woodsball is an outdoor activity.

Age
There is no official age restriction in Woodsball, although most commercial venues do have their own age restriction for their sight which may vary to suit the day or competition.
A minimum age of 10 or 12 years is normally considered acceptable.

Description
A game of Woodsball involves two opposing teams seeking to eliminate all of the other team's players or to complete some other objective, such as retrieving a flag.
Playes are eliminated by shooting (marking) them with a paintball pellet.
Team sizes vary to suit group and occasion.
Woodsball games normally last longer, than other forms of paintball, Between 2 & 24 hours, depending on setting.

Cost
Paintball equipment varies depending on the type of paintball game being played and the skill level of those playing. Every player, however, requires four basic pieces of equipment, all of which are normally supplied by the sight operator, and included within the sessions charge.

Mask: Absolutely necessary for players' protection.
Protective clothing.
Paintball gun (marker).
Paintballs: To eliminate other players.
