Hips Finder is delighted to support the life-changing work of the Meningitis Trust. The charity, which is the only one in the UK to support people affected by the disease with a unique range of free professional support services, is close to our hearts. And its work in raising vital awareness of the disease, its symptoms and its after-effects is much-needed as meningitis is still affecting thousands of people in the UK every year. With 50% of all cases occurring in babies and children under five, getting awareness of the disease out to parents is essential. But meningitis can affect anyone, of any age, at any time; striking within minutes and killing within hours, so knowledge of what to look out for is needed by all.
