Klasy is a simple Polish children's playground game which can be played alone or as a group. A double row of squares are marked on to the ground, and numbered, donating the sequance in which they must be hopped.
Location
Poland.
Age
Klasy is mainly played by girls up to 7-8 years old.
Description
The first player starts by throwing a stone into the area marked "1", then jumps with one leg and picks the stone up, and continues jumping on the same one leg through all the sections keeping balance, making sure that the leg does not touch the line. If the player makes this fault, the next person starts. The original player must start all over again when it is next there turn.
Dedication
After a player sucesfully completes the course they continue by throwing the stone into the area marked "2" repeating the same thing until all "6" rounds are succesfully finished. The first one who completes all "6" rounds wins.
The game is often modified - by inserting two extra areas known as niebo (heaven) and pieklo (hell), if a player throws the stone into niebo instead of section "3" they gain an extra round, if the stone is thrown into pieklo instead of "6" a round is lost.
