Lego is a construction toy, based originally on a set of interlocking plastic bricks. There are now many specialist sets available, based around particular themes. Although a children’s toy, Lego has developed a very strong adult following.

Lego is probably the most popularly played with game in the world. It is certainly the most popular educational toy.

Location
The Lego brick as we know it, was developed in Denmark in the late 1950s.

The Lego phenomena today, is known, played with, marvelled at and enjoyed. In countries right around the world.

Description
From the original sets of simple interlocking plastic bricks. Lego has strived to continually satisfy modern desires and themes, hence the Lego range has expanded to encompass inventive accessories, which include minifigures, motors, gears, lights, sensors, and cameras all designed to be used with Lego components. And all of which are still compatible with sets, from every period of production.

Lego pieces are compatible with all other Lego products.

Lego's philosophy is that a Lego piece obtained fifty years ago will interlock with a piece purchased to day. The same simple concept applies to pieces in specialist sets designed for any age group, and also any themed set.

Potential
Today Lego has diversified to include Theme Parks dedicated to Lego models, where the public can visit and marvel at a mind blowing array of inventive creations. There are also a host of travelling exhibitions and competitions which can be entered.
