Folk Dancing is a tradition that was started in the 19th Century it is a European Tradition and was danced by the common people, it was a discipline that formed itself though there are dances recognized today as traditional Folk Dances, the Maypole, Square Dance, Irish Dancing and Scottish Country Dance are all recognised as Folk Dances, many other countries too have their folk dances such as Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia.
