Description
Hospital radio was first inventend in 1926 it appeared first in hospital in the York county, the service was first applied in England, Ireland, Canada and other places it was first introduced by Thomas Hanstock to entertain hospital patients, hence the name 'Hospital Radio'. The service is usually run on a closed loop wires, therefore can only be picked up in the respective hospital, some stations only broadcast a few hours a day while others use computers for a 24 hour service.
