A widely played family game, involving throwing wooden or plastic hoops over pins which are normally arranged in a diamond formation, each pin having a different value, highest accumulated score wins. Players normally have five hoops to throw.

Because of the simplicity of the rules and the ability of the game to be instantly modified, Hoopla can be played and enjoyed by children as young as 3 years old.
Description
A popular variation and fair ground favorite is to throw the hoops over blocks of wood, on the blocks are balanced a variety of prizes, the harder the block to cover with the hoop the higher the value of the prize. the hoop must be thrown over the prize and fall right down over the block to win the prize. In hoopla the hoops are very light and the distances much shorter perhaps only 5 or 6ft than the adult game of Quoits, the game hoopla was developed from.
