Origami is the art of paper folding. The name originates from the Japanese Oru, to fold and Kami, paper, (folding paper). Origami is undertaken alone to entertain others, to create imaginative structures or to increase the strength of the paper.

Description
Origami only uses a small number of different folds, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper, whose sides may be of different colors, and usually proceed without any need to cut or fasten the paper. Different finished textures may be obtained by using different materials such as foil and tissue paper. Origami is very much an activity of experimental techniques.
