Age
Age is no barrier to the fun of sand boarding, the restrictions are nerve and experience.
Description
Similar to snowboarding, sand boarding is the art of standing with two feet locked onto a thin tensile board and sliding down or carving arcs down a dune. After a bit of practice, and most likely a mouthful or two of sand, you’ll be gracefully sliding down majestic sand dunes and maybe even jumping a trick or two! Even if you are not an experienced sand boarder, it is very easy and so much fun to learn!
Dedication
To find the best conditions for sand boarding, the dedicated boarder will need to seek out the worlds, remote hot, dry, sandy areas. This trouble will be rewarded with a breath taking and exhilarating experience, or an unforgettable holiday activity.
The worlds best dunes can be several miles long and equal anything offered on snow, only warmer.
Potential
When sand boarding in the UK, advice should be sought from a local club, as to where is suitable to board, as due to the limited number of suitable dunes there is the risk of causing un-repairable erosion damage or interfering with nesting birds.
