Street Luge is the formula one of the skate boarding world, invented by a group of U.S. skateboarders who simply got board with standing up and found that by lying down they could obtain faster speeds. A highly exhilarating innovation.

Description
We all did it as kids sat or laid on our skateboards going down a hill just that bit to fast, then it went extreme, with specially made elongated, widened boards to accommodate the length of the body, thicker wheels it became a popular and entertaining sport, already running in the USA in 1995 Street Luge entered the UK. The 'Luger' lies flat on his/her board feet first and then aims themselves downhill and round corners, reaching possible speeds of 80 m.p.h, full protection gear must be worn.

Dedication
If you want to be able to reach the high speeds then you will need 100% dedication, this is a fast moving and exhilarating sport requiring, guts, enthusiasm and strategy.
