Faustball claims to be the one of the oldest sports in the world, similar to volley ball in many respects.
Popularity
Throughout Europe Faustball has remained a very popular game and throughout many other countries in the world.
Location
It is played either indoors or outdoors on a grass court, though traditionally it was always played on the grass.
Age
While writing this report it was unclear at what age players start to play Faustball, though it is feesable that players could start from junior age.
Ability
Players require a good sense of health and fitness and the ability to enjoy and have lots of fun.
Description
Faustball is a fast moving game and has even had a comedy film made about it, called Faustball starring Ben Stiller. Faustball is similar to that of Volleyball however there are only usually 5 on a team, balls are hit with fists or arms, balls must be returned in no more than 3 hits, the ball is allowed to be bounced once before it is returned, there is no net to play over only a tape. However it is a fun, fast moving and very exciting game.
Dedication
Teams meet usually once a week though the aspect of personal fitness is one that is also followed, this may include additional fitness training such as a work out at the Gym and a good and healthy diet.

Potential to have lots of fun and even compete locally, nationally and internationally.
