Age
It is rare for there to be any restriction on age, although children under a stated age may have to be accompanied by an adult. Families are normally encouraged as this is where interests are kindled, and new members recruited.
Description
Followers provide that extra bit of encouragement to a competitor especially when they are competing away from home, that friendly voice or wave of encouragement spurring the competitor on to find extra energy or inspiration. The dedicated follower experiences all of the highs and unfortunately the lows of any competitor. Every activity that holds competitive competitions be they amateur or professional needs a sound base of followers.

By giving constant encouragement, lift your team and win the competition or league, win best in show. you will be as elated as the competitor.

The costs involved ind following an activity are the gate entrance fee, and if you follow an activity around the district or country to competitions the cost of travel. Most clubs organise transport to keep costs affordable as they recognize the need of the followers support. There is often a discount for children and pensioners
