An alternative darts game, played socially, using a standard dartboard and darts. Darts Football is contested by two payers or two teams of equal numbers.
Popularity
Darts Football is a recognized game and as such is widely played, the exact popularity is hard to attain as games are played unofficialy.
Location
Darts Football in common with standard darts is normally played in doors and can be played any where there is room to hang a dartboard and throw the darts a distance of eight feet.
Age
Any age of either sex can play darts cricket making it an ideal family entertainment. Children should be supervised until responsible enough to throw sharp darts safely.
Ability
A game needing higher throwing accuracy than other alternative dart games.
Description
Darts football is game for two players, each throwing three darts in turn. A dart in the inner bull (inner circle) gains control of the ball, this player can then start scoring goals by throwing doubles (getting darts in the boards outer circle), he continues scoring until the opponent takes the ball away by scoring an inner bull. The first player to score ten goals wins the game.
Dedication
As this activity is played purely for pleasure there is no necessary level of dedication, although as with all games of accuracy practise does improve your aim.
Potential
There are no recognised competitions to be entered in Darts Football, it is played purely as a fun alternative to darts, it does improve throwing accuracy for the standard game of darts.

Cost
A dartboard can be purchased from around twenty pounds, and a set set of darts the same. Cheaper children's play sets can be found. Once you have a dartboard and darts there are no further costs.
