Filipino martial arts (FMA) is a term used to describe the numerous martial art forms that have originated in the Philippines. FMA include Panantukan (empty-handed techniques), Eskrima and Kali (blade and stick fighting) and Pananjakman (kicking).
Description
Filipino martial arts heightens awareness of a persons surroundings, training a student to appreciate when and from where an attack is coming. giving them the ability to defend them self, weather an attack is from a single person or group and whatever weapon they may be using. FMA teaches a student that the every day items found in the environment can be used as tools of combat to defend ones self. Umbrella, book, bag or scarf).
