This activity involves the towing of a snow board from a ridden horse, around an equine arena with a loose artificial surface. Normally for fun or exhibition, as a competitive activity it has been superseded by the more versatile Horse Boarding.
Age
Age is immaterial, as long as the participant is competent in one of the two elements required.
Ability
Horse surf boarding requires two participants each requiring a different skill. One should be a proficient horse rider the other experienced in an activity such as water skiing or wake boarding.
Description
Horse snow boarding in an arena is not a combination activity, in which a participants takes part in a number of different activities, but is an activity in which two activities are bought together (horse riding / surf boarding), allowing each participant to pursue their activity, in harmony with the other to produce this exhilarating activity.
