Car Boot Sales combine the primeval instincts of hunting (hunting for bargains), haggling (negotiating the price, all prices are negotiable) duelling (the buyer verses the seller)

Car Boot Sales are found throughout the country most weekends of the year. And range in size from small events run by clubs or villages to boost local funds to huge regularly run commercial events with car parks, full public facilities.

Car Boot Sales are suitable and great fun for males and females of all ages, although some items may be restricted by age as to who can buy or sell them eg alcohol, tobacco and fireworks.

It is necessary to have the ability to spot a bargain, there is certainly no restrictions on physical ability, however some sites because of the very temporary nature of the event may be difficult walking especially in wet conditions.

If an item any item is not wanted by one person but may be of use to someone else, and it is transportable in a car. It is saleable at a car boot sale. The seller stands by his car as a stallholder, the buyer tours the event if something caches the eye you buy or attempt to buy it. Suits collectors, bargain hunters or people just browsing for that special bargain. BUYER BEWARE there is normally no guarantee or any comeback on purchases of any kind, items are SOLD AS SEEN.
