Soft tennis is a racket game played on a court of two halves, separated by a net.
Soft tennis is very similar to Lawn Tennis, differing mainly in that it uses soft rubber balls instead of hard yellow ones.
Location
Played throughout the 20th century in Asia, especially Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and the Philippines. Soft tennis has recently been introduced into Europe. The Netherlands, Hungary, Tjech Republic and Scotland all have Soft tennis federations.
Description
The game object of Soft Tennis is to hit the ball over the net, landing within the confines of the court, with the aim of preventing the opponent from being able to hit it back.
