Drift Triking is the competitive exhibition activity, of riding a purposely constructed tricycle down a steep gradient, with the intention of making fast controlled and accentuated sideways slides (drifts). Similar to the motorised sport of Drifting.
Description
Drift Trikes are tricycles that have a conventional tyred front wheel, but the rear wheels, are wide slick wheels made from a hard pvc. Drift Trikes are ridden on smooth paved steep downhill roads, preferably with some corners. with a steep downhill gradient and some corners.
Riders acheive momentum through the gradient gravity or pedals.
