Shin-kicking which is also known as Hacking is a combat sport between two contestants, who attempt to kick the other on the shin to force them to the ground. During the contest combatants face each other and hold onto each other's collar at all times

Shin Kicking originated in England in the early 17th-century, and was competed at the Cotswold Olimpick Games until the games ended in the 1850s. Since 1951 Shin Kicking contests are held annually as part of the revived Cotswold Olimpick Games.
