Thumb Wrestling is a game (sport) contested by two facing players with linked hands. Players then using their thumbs to simulate fighting, try to pin the opponent's thumb, to a count of three. A game variation is warring with both hands at once.

Description
Sitting upright facing each other (there is no leaning in any direction aloud) The players each holding out their left hand, link hands in such a way that each player's fingers curl around the other player's fingers. The battle starts with both contestants chanting the rhyme "One, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war".
Dedication
There are several game play tactics which can be employed when in a thumb war such as "playing possum", aiming for the thumb knuckle rather than the nail to gain a pin, going for a quick strike or just waiting for the opponent to tire.Variations include making the thumbs "bow", "kiss", or both before warring, and to war with both hands at once.
