Walking Rugby targets the over 50s. Running is forbidden.There are no tackles, scrums, rucks or mauls. Instead players are allowed to hold onto the ball for no more than three seconds before passing. A try is scored by walking the ball over the line.

Walking Rugby was devised with the over fifty year old's in mind, and is played over four quarters, of ten minutes each.
Description
In Walking Rugby as the name suggests, running is forbidden as is passing the ball higher than shoulder height.
There are no high tackles, or indeed any tackles and no scrums, rucks or mauls.
Instead players are allowed to hold onto the ball for no more than three seconds before passing, keeping the pace moving and giving the other team the chance to intercept the ball.
There are no goalposts, instead players score a try by walking over the line carrying the ball.
