Known in the USA simply as 'Football' the game play could not be more different than those rules for football (soccer as the Americans refer to it) as we know it here in the UK. It is a physical game where the players wear protective body armour.

Description
The ball used to play American Football is similar to that of our native Rugby ball in that it has two pointed ends. The objective of the game is to get the ball up the field to the opposing teams end and over their goal, the ball can be carried, thrown or kicked to another team player. Points can be scored in a number of ways from kicking the ball through the goal posts, carrying the ball over the goal line or even passing to another team player over the line.
