Sea Scouts are a division of Scouting with a nautical twist and not to be confused with Sea Cadets.
Popularity
With many clubs through out the U.K and all over the world this is a highly popular interest.
Location
Many clubs take places in village, town or memorial hall through out the U.K.
Age
From young Beaver Scouts at aged 6 through to aged 25.
Ability
No special abilities are required to join the Sea Scouts and children with special needs or disabilities are always welcome to come and join in the fun.
Description
Sea scouting is part of the traditional scout movement though they incorporate a nautical twist to their regular scouting duties and activities. This is all about having fun and learning a new skill, this is not recruitment for the Royal Navy or other groups but bringing awareness when near the water and enjoying learning about the whole nautical adventure, some scouts also spend time during the holidays and camps and perfecting their skills. Sometimes meeting more than once a week.
Dedication
Start and have a few visits there is never any pressure to join, was you have enjoyed yourself and want to become a full member then you can where the scout uniform.
Potential
To have lots of fun and make new friends, learning new skills.
